“Deputy Charles Ward told the Dáil that anyone assessing the property can see internal cracking in structural areas of the home, including walls that are required to carry the load of specialist lifting equipment used in her daily care. Despite this, the property has been assessed under the ...defective concrete scheme with a recommendation for external wall remediation only, while internal structural issues linked to that care equipment have not been fully addressed in the proposed works.”

🚨I asked for an update on I.S.465 once again!🚨
Imagine being told you've finally won your demolition appeal after years living in an unsafe home - only to be told hours later the email was sent "in error". This isn't a minor admin mistake. These are real people, ...real homes, and real stress. The Defective Blocks Scheme must have proper safeguards so no applicant is put through this again.

I met Diarmuid and his parents a year ago. He has DMD, and so does his brother. The heartbreaking reality is that his brother is on a trial and has access to life-changing medication, while Diarmuid still does not.
He is up against it. He is up against time. So is Aaron.
Aaron ...lives in Laghey, just 10 minutes from Belleek in County Fermanagh, where this drug is readily available. Yet a year has passed and nothing has been done.
These children are losing precious time, and with DMD, time is muscle.
I am asking — and pleading with — the Minister to act now and get something done about this.

www.donegallive.ieI was speaking in favour of a motion on neutrality and on the Sanctions against the State of Israel Bill 2025 our neutrality should not be mistaken for indifference.
Maintaining our neutrality does not mean that we remain silent or condone the atrocities that are occurring across the ...world. We must continue to stand firmly for human rights, international law and the protection of innocent people, while doing everything in our power to sanction the perpetrators and hold them accountable!
